Steel, Bright Zinc Plated

Used in carpentry, special joinery, prefabricated buildings, vehicle manufacture (truck flooring, side and tail boards), boat building, exhibition work, framing, heavy re-usable packing cases, packing for machinery and sea freight.

For connection of timber and metal components. The square shank holds firm in the timber. The pre-bored hole should be the same diameter as the round shank. For connecting timber to timber an oversize (large diameter) washer must be fitted under the nut.
