Self Tapping Screws

Self tapping screws for general metal to metal applications. For best results use in conjunction with a RECA HSS drill.

Self-Tapping Screw Pan Head DIN 7500 –PE (TRITAP/TAPTITE ALTERN) ¤ Self-tapping screws create their own “female thread”, during installation, when screwing into ready made holes, without creating any chips. This creates an optimum screw connection in steel, die cast metal, aluminium, brass and copper with minimal installation costs.

¤ Low insertion torque. ¤ Internal Drive Torx (Tx) ¤ Zinc plated

Advice: Guidelines for core hole diameter in copper and copper alloy (E-CU F30 and CuZn F38); aluminium and aluminium alloys (Al 99.5 F13 and AlMn F10) and steel (St 12 and 37). In certain cases, ideal values can only be established in laboratory tests.
